Yes we've really pulled an offer out of the bag this week! And it won't
cost a packet! We commissioned the world famous engraver, Hoo Flung Dung from the Beijing
sweatshop where he operates to produce a tribute to the mad American indie gospel rockers,
the Polyphonic Spree. Six months he spent engraving the image of the twenty three
band members onto a single grain of rice. Examined under a microscope the detail
captured is incredible, right down to a blob of ear wax on Martha's shoulder and a slither
of gherkin on Jimbo's upper lip! The work, performed under a poor light sent poor
old Hoo Flung Dung blind but fortunately his work was not in vain as we are going to
pocket nearly a grand for his efforts (don't worry, we gave him a white stick and a box of
out of date Milk Tray as a thank you). Buy now, before the novelty of this useless band
wears off!Small print: Due to a minor mishap in our
deliveries warehouse the Polyphonic Spree tribute grain of rice ended up in the kitchen
where it was accidentally mixed up with a packet of Uncle Ben's finest and boiled.
We are pretty sure it's still in the bowl pictured but have no idea which one it
is. I'm sure a real Polyphonic Spree fan would have no trouble finding it though.
