It's getting more blatant though. For a band to come on here and call themselves prog as if that's some sort of badge of honour, I mean... *shakes head*... what's the world coming to? As for the prog/folk thing, I've argued with Anarchy over this many times (me supping Snakebite, him on mead) and there's a thin dividing line sometimes that some of these fiddly diddly merchants cross. Luckily I'm usually there to beat back the weirdie beardies with a barrage of flob...

Jesus. Badge of honour? Are we still talking about music here? As far as I'm aware there is still a thriving community of fans of prog rock, just as there are of classical music, but boy did we modernists sort those pussys out (shakes fist).

For your information, none of us are bearded, we make music because it's fun to play and we love it. The 'prog' heading is about the only thing I could put us under. If i came on here stating we were just just an average rock band, i think we'd be selling ourselves short, we're certainly not punk, jazz, country or any of those. So please think about what you are going to say before you post. Is it likely to benefit anyone? Is it constructive in any way?

Thanks for letting us know you aren't actually intrested in music but just it's social and cultural history. Good job, now you can get a job in marketing...

Tree, you dunderhead. Have you had a complete sense of humour bypass? Of course if you state your music as prog you are going to have people take the pee out of you, just like if you'd come on here saying you're a veggie, mormon or vole shagger. That's the nature of things.
