It sure is! Good choice.

I don't think my old man ever had one of those, he was definitely fond of Ami's and Rockola's (he did up a few Seeburg's too but he never kept them. Don't think he ever got a Wurlitzer to complete the golden jukebox quadrant).

3 I distinctly remember playing from...

Ami Continental (a lovely, lovely machine)

Rockola Princess (the standard one in the living room that we changed the records in every week)

Rockola 'Bubble' (bit garish but pretty sexy it has to be said)

Best thing about growing up around jukeboxes is knowing where the 'skip' button is... (it's always in the same place). Good for pissing off people in pubs where there's an old/restored jukebox that plays CDs...

Lucky sod, growing up with that lot in your house at various times, Westie. My dad had the aforementioned Dynatron and about 12 LPs, ALL Neil Diamond, which he'd play at full volume downstairs so he could hear it while shaving prior to going out boozing (he was a six sessions a week man)

Wurlitzer did make this retro styled box that played 45s in 1973

For me it all went wrong quite early in the 60s when jukebox designs no longer had the turntable and selector mechanism visible. There's a couple of al-right Rock-Olas up until the mid 60s, but I think the last true classic was the AMi Continental mk2 in 1962
