With the Chazzer Shield this weekend it seems like a good time to get our predos in for the coming season. Here's mine:

Man C
Man U
Chelsea
Arsenal
Liverpool
Spurs
Everton
Fulham
Newcastle
Stoke
QPR
Sunderland
West Ham
Villa
Southampton
Swansea
West Brom
Wigan
Norwich
Reading

I can see any of those top three winning the league but Chelsea's defence will be their downfall. Any of the bottom 6/7 could go down.

Champions League: Barcelona
FA Cup: Man U
League Cup: Liverpool
Scots : er, maybe... Celtic?
Championship: Forest, Blackburn & Cardiff to beat Watford in play-offs... Barnsley, Hull and Peterborough to be bottom 3 - Palace to survive on GD.
Div 1: Sheff U, Doncaster & Bournemouth
Div 2: Er, dunno...

Maybe they are following Spain's example?

Top 7 Predictions:

Man Ure
Chelsea
Man City
Spurs
Arsenal
Liverpool
Newcastle

Champions League - Real Madrid (although it pains me to say it)
FA Cup - A London club!
League Cup - Liverpool
Bundesliga 2 Liga - St Pauli

Orient to get relegated this season. No signings, no hope

There's time yet. O'Neil isn't stupid enough to leave it that way. They've probably got the forthcoming young player of the year waiting in their ranks.

Anyone doing a Fantasy League this year? Last years was good fun!

The top 4 will be:

Man City
Man United
Arsenal
Chelsea

Maybe some room for shuffling about, but they will be the 4. Spurs and Liverpool have no chance.

They haven't, hence they are trying to buy Fletcher from Wolves for £12m.

They must have faith in someone there. United have strikers and are still looking for more! Sunderland will be this season's Newcastle. The wind is in their sails.

Bit optimistic about Forest there Bov. Frankly it's a total unknown. If O'Driscoll can finally get consistency out of Majewski and McGugan, one of the strikers get anywhere near 20 for once, the brand spanking new defence get to know each other, and Chris Cohen returns to being as good as he was before he broke his leg, then we're a decent bet. But that's too long a list of ifs to hope for more than the play-offs. And it could get worse before it gets better...

Swansea will struggle without Rodgers, Liverpool will struggle with Rodgers.

I think time is up for Wigan but will go down to the last game of the season, with Southampton, Wigan and Norwich all facing the drop on the last day.

Reports from preseason suggest otherwise... but we'll see. It will be a tough season, but I fancy Norwich will struggle more without Lambert, than Swansea without Rodgers - the core of Swansea squad have been used to changing managers - Martinez, Sousa, Rodgers. Each new manager made us stronger.....

I think Hughton deserves his shot at the Prem but I don't disagree with you. This year is going to be hard.

I suspect that's not far off what will happen though you've had the benefit of 3 rounds of matches to work that out...

True, and that's not the top 4 I would've picked had I been on the forum 3/4 weeks ago.

Hope I'm wrong anyway (about the order of the top 2...).
