Anybody up for this rather brill looking event:

http://soundsxp.com/artman2/publish/news/TOY_and_Race_Horses_play_vinyl_London_gigs.shtml

Suspect it'll be mobbed as it's free, especially when TOY play on Sunday.

Nah, I'll be at the Odd Box Weekender.

Could possibly make it along on the Monday. But it's in Camden and you'd have to pay me to go there on Bank Holiday weekend.

The rest of the Welsh folk in London will be drooling over Race Horses!

I put them on years ago when they were Radio Luxembourg. Kinda lost interest in them over the years, though.

I don't mind them but it's nothing Topper didn't do better!

then you're both mental. I have seen race horses several times over the last couple of years and I think they are completely brilliant.

No I'm saying I like them, so I agree. But I LOVED Topper. Can't comment on either live though.

Seen them twice. Very good though I preferred them when they sang in Welsh. Seemed to add something to the songs for me.

Much better live than on record, but then I always think that. I also think they have improved quite a bit since I first saw them

I suppose I'm a relative newcomer. I think the first song I heard was Cake or something off that album. I only know a handful of songs really.

I've just checked The Sound Of Confusion archives and they were first played on the show in Jan 2010 and the song was Cake, followed by Man In Mind a few days later and Pony a few weeks later. You can rest a little easier tonight knowing that now I'm sure...

You should definitely check out Spoken Word Guest. Their first three albums are mega.
