Twin Beds is the new album from The Rosie Taylor Project, which is due out on Odd Box Records in February. Harnessing the intensity of The National with the pop sensibility of Jens Lekman and the intelligent wordplay of Deathcab For Cutie, The Rosie Taylor Project have made a sophisticated record, full of heartfelt honesty and romance. Produced by Richard Formby (Wild Beasts, Herman Dune) and with a guest vocal appearance from Wild Beasts’ singer Tom Fleming, the band have honed their chamber pop sound to become the next in line of succession for widespread admiration.

Great band, great album but a Monday night at a venue a fair walk from the tube makes it tricky. Does nobody do Friday gigs any more?

And even worse I saw five Bolas... Mind you you could get 2 of the new streamlined Bolas into one of the blubbery old Bolas if you believe your facebook announcements.

Trev - really good gig, and a pretty packed Lexington for a Monday night. Nice work on getting the CDs collated in time for the gig - although the merch table is what you'd describe as basic!

Cheers Ged.

It was a great little show and nice and busy too.

I thought The Rosie Taylor Project were brilliant. We sold a sackful of their album too. Happy days.
