OK, I'll try not to go off on one again

I hope it didn't come across as an argument Bovine? It's just a healthy debate. I've been thinking about what I said when I classed myself as 'middle of the road', I think that may have been wrong, middle of the road suggests that I sit on the fence and don't really have an opinion, that's not true of me, I have quite strong opinions but I don't fit into a left wing or right wing stance in my opinion.

These kind of ANL events and NF marches to me seem a way of getting together with a group of like minded people and promoting hate. ANL - hatred of anyone with a right wing view. NF - Hatred of non whited, jews and gays. That's why I oppose this kind of thing, I'm all for meeting with like minded people, but to promote positivity and not negativity by fuelling peoples hatred of someone else's opinions. Now this could go on for ever because I'm sure your opinion is that if you feel so strongly about something it is worth fighting for but we've both made some valid points and don't think any of us have got pissed of with one another so I quite enjoyed it.

It would be nice to see a post from someone who isn't a lefty though (just to make me better ) and Bola I'll take you up on that offer of emailing you, I'd be interested in discussing some of your opinions further.

The ANL does not hate anyone with a right wing view. I don't know how you come to that conclusion. The ANL was established in South London in 1977 as a counter to the number of violent National Front marches in the area at the time, mainly in Lewisham. They disbanded in the early 1980's after the NF went intop decline and reformed in 1992 after Derek Beacon was elected as a BNP Councillor in Tower Hamlets.

The ANL now exist to counter the Nazi arguments and lies that the holocaust deniers spread. The ANL is a mix of political parties, trade unions and other organisations and from the website:

As for fighting back I prefer arguments to counter the BNP threat but in the words of Pastor Niemoller:
