When you're singing, standing up at an away game, arms aloft and you turn around to see another 3,000 of your fans doing exactly the same thing. Singing their hearts out.

Arsenal away last Saturday did it for me.

"We all follow the West Ham....", gave me a lump in my throat.

Exactly that moment too, Howdy.

I like knowing the words of the songs and joining in when they're sung. I get goosebumps when I'm part of a sea of yellow moving towards a ground and shouting 'Yarmy!', or singing On The Ball City...

I like it when the keeper turns around and looks you in the eye you if you're in the front row and he has nothing to do.

So many things.

Winning an automactic promotion for the first time in 36 years - I will be 72 next time that happens!

Needless to say we are staring relegation in the face again this season. I couldn't bear that considering the Dagenham scummers have been promoted and we would have to play them.
