Anyone catch the first 2 epsiodes of the new series last night? I only saw a couple of the last series and enjoyed them but was a bit disappointed with the 2 last night. The idea's great, the interaction bewteen characters excellent and there's lots of humour but the plots that pad it out are relatively poor. Plus I suppose as the Sweeney was a pisstake to start with, isn't this a pistake of a pisstake?

I'll still be watching next week, mind.

Didn't see either last night, but loved the first season.

I shall be buying les DVDs at some point.

Oh and any ideas if last night's is being repeated in the near future?

I reckon it'll crop up on BBC4, possibly even the BBC site. I remember both of the last series of Mighty Boosh and Nighty Night were on-line there for a week.

My son loves it. It's the only thing he watches. I spoilt it for him the other night though. I said 'Chaz, did you ever think that maybe he's in the right time frame now and that he accidently went to the future and now he's returned home?' He supped his tea and gave me a filthy look. Yep, it's great being me. I didn't like the first series much but I was hovering about while it was on the other night and a few things made me smile. I'll probably watch it now. Ugly Betty is the only thing I watch. And the odd episode of Shameless which is a hit and miss this time round.
