Why is that funny? D'ya know what I think? You're all jealous because the man exudes charisma, even in his quieter moments. But on a serious note, he is a shining example. He quit his addictions, he has left his mark on the music world (whether or not you like it) and he makes white trousers acceptable. He's said some stupid things in the past but who hasn't? And he's still a baby with so much to offer*

I actually quite like the two Razorlight albums, though I feel this is in spite of Borrell rather than because of him.

My main problem is that you have to be able to talk the walk (or walk the talk, whatever that phrase is) in order to ensure you don’t come over like some sort of tosser. A good example is Morrissey. He talks a lot of nonsense but the wit and intelligence of the man comes through in his songs, which kind off exonerates him somewhat.

Lyrically, Razorlight are abysmal, which makes Borrell’s rantings just seem like crass playground stuff. Unless you posses some Wildean rapier wit its probably best to keep your mouth shut unless you have something interesting to say.
