I've still got the copy of RC that called this site "hip and happening" in my drawer. That was in the days when we had about 5 writers, all of whom had mullets (and no they weren't ironic)...

I guess After the Fire must have spotted the domain name was suddenly up for grabs. I can see why RC aren't using it - they make their money through advertising and high cover price. The web's no good to them though losing the name seems a bit short sighted.
