I love London.

I stay with a friend in Kings Cross whenever I go there and on my first time I was disappointed not to be offered sex or crack as soon as I left Kings Cross tube.

The best times I've had in the last year have been in your city.

Aww Pol, your post brought a year to my eye After spending sporadic long periods of time in the middle of nowheres I still believe that London is the place to be. You can lose yourself in the crowd. Nobody knows the ins and out of your life and as a private person I love this - the main thing I hate is what teasy pointed out - the 'avoiding eye contact' disease that most commuters have - a two minute trip on a tube can become like a lifetime - I smile at nearly everybody and more often than not it's returned with a 'care in the community' frown. And seeing as Chimes has gone all poetic on me i'll throw in a little of my baby Sir Johnnie Betjeman - 'I'll walk the streets of London Which once seemed all our own' - because that's the beauty of London, it is yours and you'll make it what you will. And Pol, I thought I was the only one who did number six - one night i'll do it with you to make up for number two on your poop list.
