It's 2005 and we're back for more - but not as you know it!!
Join us for our 'pilot' night at the Fiddlers - and also a belated year's anniversary of The Penelope Tree!!
And , as if that wasn't enough - it's the celebration of Jim/Chimes' birth!!! (it's his cough, cough, cough tieth).

Just around the corner from the Enterprise - our old home!!

But this time there are 3 important changes;

Firstly, we've got the whole venue. It's a lovely pub, with nooks, crannies, leather sofas and it's the perfect size for us...

Secondly, we're in a position where there's no longer an admission fee.

Thirdly, this has meant that we can now move to a different date. We will now be on the 2nd Friday of every month.

So, our debut of the year will take place on Friday 11th Feb.
And we welcome our special guest DJ - the one and only YOUNG SOUL REBEL - doing exactly what it says on the tin!!
Plus Hatty and Chimes playing stuff that makes you go 'Wait..yes, it is!!'


8pm - 1am
No entry after 11pm - unless you are wearing your badge!!

I assume that's the Fiddlers Elbow where Come Down And Meet The Folks is/was held on Sunday afternoons. I went there once and it was quite nice - though it was hard to see much as it was packed 'cos The Arlenes were playing.

Yep - that's the fella. There's no 'Elbow' on the actual signs on the walls outside, so we thought we'd avoid confusion.

I had a really good night, mainly due to the fine company I was able to keep.

And then I completely ruined everything by tripping up on an uneven pavement on the way to the night bus, falling flat on my face and breaking the screen on my mobile phone It now appears that I'm resigned to losing most of my text messages and all my photos and video clips forever, and not being able to send/receive texts till I can upgrade in April.

Enid, somebody so great should not have such bad luck! And I sent you on that shit Brighton trip too I'm sorry you - but when I saw the Dears they were amazing...
