Ha ha ha, It's a Military thing in the Ottawa area.... Strip Joints in Gatineau and fights in the bars of Hull. Saw and lived both when I hung around the military personel. I prefered the Ottawa Music Scene where I had the pleasure to experience Zaphod Beeblebrox's Show Bar and Mexicali Rosa's at thier peak. Ottawa has a cool underground music scene. Remembering Furnaceface, The Whirleygigs, Doctor Shiny Forehead, and the one and only Anal Chinook ( 4 members dressed like Kiss and the 5th , the singer, as a Clown)


The only thing i liked about Blue Rodeo was thier ex-keyboard player Bob Wiseman who went on to make amazing (to me at least) solo albums. songs like Bhopal Plan, Airplane on a Highway, All The trees, What the Astronaut noted and Suggested, Elephants to Dinosaurs, etc are classics in my mind.

Incidentally, are the references to 'Blue Rodeo' a misspelling of Blue Rondo a la Turk?
