The new season of lunchtime Daylight Music shows starts at the Union Chapel in Islington on Saturday 8 June. This first concert will be headlined by Gordon McIntyre of Ballboy, and will also feature performances from A Little Orchestra, Model Village and The Wonderful Sound of the Cinema Organ. Entry is free, although a donation is requested. No need for tickets, please just pop along on the day. The show runs from midday until 2.15pm, leaving plenty of time for those people who are also attending the Oddbox all-dayer at Power Lunches later in the afternoon! A Little Orchestra be playing alongside some special guests from their debut album Clocks (), as well as performing with Gordon himself. Gordon will also be DJing at Scared to Dance in the evening, helped by Katey Lee from Music for Girls. It should be a really fun day all round – hope to see you there! / |
