Swedish Band Library Tapes will soon start a very limited date tour of the UK to promote “Hostluft” their critically acclaimed and strongest release to date on Make Mine Music records (MMM033). This is the sound of lo-fi classical piano underscored with ambient, experimental electronica found in A Silver Mount Zion, Eluvium and Sylvain Chauveau. Beautiful abstract melancholia never sounded as good. The band tour in the form of David Wenngren, who is the creative force behind the recording duo Library Tapes and you can have the pleasure of seeing him at The Star & Garter, Manchester 29 August 2007 courtesy of Wot God Forgot Promotions. Whilst “Hostluft” is championed by the likes of independent stores such as Norman Records, Boomkat and Piccadilly Records bring some extra cash with you to buy a copy of “Hostluft” from David himself and cherish it forever.

Five piece instrumental band from Dartford, Kent like making pretty music that can explode at any second. With their militaristic drum beats, delicate dream like post rock soundscapes that are punctuated with breath taking cymbal crashes, comparisons with Explosions in the Sky are understandable and quite possibly they are the next best thing that the UK has to offer.
