I heard T&F might be trying to get 1990s to play too, but not sure if they could or not. I like the fact that one of them sounds like Edwyn Collins and the other guy sounds like James Kirk. I do wonder if they started off as an OJ tribute band. Not that I'm saying that's a bad thing. Were very good when I saw them at Madame JoJos last month. "Footsteps" sounds like an outtake from Ostrich Churchyard. |

They're brill live - I reviewed their gig in Hackney with Love is All. Their bass player even has a cardigan and quiff. Yeah it's very OJ, but they're one of the most exciting bands I've seen in a long time. I said in the review that they had the same charge we felt when we say the Futureheads the first time. I'm definitely up for that gig. |
