went to see them last night (thanks teasy) did anyone else? for what its worth this is what i thought they came on at 8.30 (luckily someone had told me this was likely) and played for 2 hours 30 minutes. thats 2 and a half hours! which is basically too much for a band where you know a few songs. i can think of a few bands i would like to see do that long, and i really like the idea of going on early and playing until you want to finish, but we left with 40 minutes to go if there had been quality contol they could have done a really great 80 minute set, and some of their stuff was great. unfortunately there was at least as much ho hum material. |
