I bought a ukulele today. No particular reason, but it seemed like a good idea at the time and Patrick Wolf plays one and he's cool but anyway...

Anyone got any idea what it takes to be a good ukulele player? I can play guitar and bass so shouldn't be too tricky to pick it up, but any tips would be much appreciated.

i play the ukulele.

badly.

hang on there a sec and i'll dig you up some AWESOME websites on the subject.

this is possibly the best site in the world (if you like the beatles and play the ukulele. i do)

the classic book on the subject is called the joy of uke. you can get that from amazon or wherever.
