I got rid of a load over the weekend too. Pain in the proverbial and it shouldn't be difficult to keep logged in.

While I appreciate it must be a hassle for moderators to have to deal with spam etc. I’m always a big fan of keeping forums as open as possible. The walled garden approach can often lead to a clique of users and can put of the casual user (who’s opinion should always be heard, I feel), out of the picture.. Moreover my regular forum haunt is a registration forum but we still get the usual spammers, scammers and knobbers… It can actually be quite fun if you can rise a debate out of them.. Incidentally, I’m thinking of developing my own internet-based money making pyramid scam.. Subject title: Get rich with Paypal… or die trying. |

Incidentally, forum censorship is another bugbear... I'm tempted to start a "Gary Neville is a red" thread just to test Bovine's aderence to the "i disgree with what you say but respect your right to say it" principal.. (was at Old Trafford yesterday, three rows in front of Sven, no less; was caught on Sky camera’s looking bewildered and lost, like any cockney red should whilst in the unfamiliar surrounds of Manchester) |
