Friday, April 7 Pretenders Friday, April 14 Stereolab Anyone know what the Pretenders are like nowadays? Also, Stereolab any good live?, bit wary of electronic acts. |

I would hardly call Stereolab an "electronic" act! In anycase they are very good live. The Pretenders are supposed to be enjoyable but I have not seen them. |

I saw stereolab at the esplanade on southend seafront (before they turned in into a gastropub). About 1998 i think. They weren't very good, but that was because a keyboard didnt work and it freaked them all out. I'm sure it was just a bad night. Friends say were great when they went to see them. Have no idea what they're like since the death of Mary. Pretenders, yay, underestimated band. |
