There was a case in China recently where one player tracked down and murdered another - offline of course. Both played a game in a fantsay world. It seems the victim borrowed a virtual sword of the killer, flogged it without him knowing so the other one killed him. China is now considering drafting a law that recognises legal ownership of virtual property. It's Dungeons & Dragons for the 21st century! |
