Have I spelt the name right? Well even if I haven't you prob know who I mean. Anyway I think there was a thread a few days ago wanting to know about them. Well I just heard them do a session on Radio 1 and the singer being interviewed was fairly hilarious in a kinda not sure whether ur laughing at or with him kinda way. In fact it was all a little Pete Doherty music wise as well; pretty rubbish and messy but somehow endearing. |

we played with them on friday night at the garage. some views and perfunctory anecdotage under the "daddy long legs at the garage" thread not a squillion miles from this one. i think they're really young (17-18 at a guess). they're certainly not very big. all good mucky fun. i was apprehensive about playing with them as they have a bit of a rep for being brattish little fukkers who'll wreck your stuff if you give them half a chance but i found them charming and was rather taken with their confidence on stage. some nice enough tunes too. not my thing really to be honest, but then again i'm pretty sure they're not singing to the likes of me. |

Agreed V-V. They're the best rock act I've seen for quite a while and lyrics don't get much more stirring than Sarah's Brother. And if I wasn't so rampantly hetrosexual that I soil my trousers in the mere presence of any life form vaguely female, I'd fancy the pants of Jose. He looks like a young better looking Lenny Kravitz. |
