Ooops Dickie Bacon's insulted the Magic Numbers on TOTPs. They walked off cos he called them fat. His excuse that follwed is hilarious backtracking pish. |

Bacon is a twat, has always been a twat and always will be a twat. He is responsible for the single most appalling piece of broadcasting it has ever been my misfortune to hear. While covering the XFM "drive-time" show he used to have a 'humorous' slot where he phoned up some thick bigoted woman from a small Lancastrian town (or someone doing a very good impression). Even she was doing her best to avoid making overtly racist remarks, but he kept pushing and pushing until finally she cracked, only for him to immediately act shocked and make simliarly feeble attempts to disown responsibility. I know that when you have no disceranble talents or ability (he even manages to be chiefly famous for the utterly not unusual fact that he's a TV presenter who has taken cocaine - well whoopee-do, find me one that hasn't, now that would be a claim to fame) you might have to resort to witless shock tactics, but he'd frankly be better if he had even a morsel of backbone and weren't such a craven apologist. In these days when the country is wringing its hands about the moral example it sets its anti-social youth, I can think of no better candidate to be flayed alive and made to bungee jump into a vat of salt water, just to show everyone where we draw the line. |
