Leading on from the bands who have not fulfilled their potential thread Bovine Juice posted a link to someone who paid nearly £47 for a Cud CD! What's the most you have paid for a CD or Record? I have paid up to £20 for some early C86 singles but the most I have paid was £25 for the Fire Engines CD they gave away at their comeback gig in January 2004 when they dupported The Captain Beefheart band. What's the most you have paid? I could beat that on this . That will go for over £50 at least. |

I've never had the money! The most i've spent is about £17 - the least i've spent is 50p on Lucky Jim - now that was a bargain. |

I tend not to spend too much on individual items as I search around for stuff so regularly that they eventually turn up at a fair price. If you count box sets the 4 CD In Crowd 60s mod/soul thing cost me £30. Other than that I think I spent £20 on the Strokes debut album on CD-R promo from my very good friends at Sister Ray...*cough... wankers... cough* before it came out and the Subways debut 7" cost me £22 over eBay (it's now worth over £50). |
