Well, if the remake doesn't feature Donald Sutherland's leathery buttocks bouncing up and down then it'll at least be a move in the right direction. Personally, I think the original version's over-rated (119 dour minutes followed by a pointless murder) but still can't see the point of remaking it. Oooh and Sleuth - now there's an awful film. It must be "remake pretentious nonsense from the 60s" season in Hollywood. Presumably someone's working on "Blow Up" even as I type... |
