I was covering an event for my boss last night, so was at a work dinner during the start of the game. But when someone came in and told us it was 3-3 I was one of four people who made it out of the room before our cutlery hit the table. So saw about 45mins worth plus penalties. Fantastic stuff and am very glad about it.
But scousers only get 1 week's grace. After that point any smug remarks about having "regained their rightful place in Europe" will be treated with the disdain they deserve. And the rank bitterness that comes with being a fan of the only European Championships to sink to the depths of the third tier...
