Having always sworn off the things, I have finally been tempted (or rather browbeaten by my other half) by the rather lovely looking Green Man festival: Bonnie Prince Billy, James Yorkston, Joanna Newsom, Broken Family Band. I imagine there'll be plenty of burning wicker effigies too... It's in Wales  , but near enough to make a break for the border if the National Assembly find out I'm there and try to exact retribution for my perceived insults to the Welsh nation last year...

This is getting upsetting now.......... I couldn't go to Truckfest because of a hen night and now I can't make this festival, which has a FANTASTIC line-up, because of a wedding.
