Really difficult. I agree with Trev when he said the top 7 will be the top 7 but who knows what order and all the rest could be relegated. 1 Chelsea 2 Man C 3 Man U 4 Arsenal 5 Liverpool 6 Tottenham 7 Everton 8 Hull 9 Stoke 10 Sunderland 11 Crystal Palace 12 Newcastle 13 Leicester 14 Swansea 15 QPR 16 West Ham 17 Aston Villa 18 West Brom 19 Southampton 20 Burnley Think there could be a significant gap between 5th and 6th. |

Liverpool to win the league Trev? ![]() Chelsea will win it at an absolute canter. Unless Diego Costa flops. 1. Chelsea 2. Arsenal 3. Man City 4. Man United 5. Liverpool 6. Everton 7. Spurs West Ham, West Brom and Burnley for the drop. Think West Ham will ditch Allardyce round October time and make a poor choice of replacement. West Brom look generally bereft. Burnley will be spirited but ultimately will fall short. Leicester will be alright I reckon. Good manager plus they've got enough cash to just about adjust to the top flight. Villa, Sunderland and Swansea will be in the relegation mixer from Christmas onwards. |

Liverpool will not win the league. Champions League will be their downfall. And it'll probably stop Arsenal too, decent though they looked yesterday. |

Champions League? Am pretty sure you'll go out early doors in the CL. Shouldn't fuck up the league campaign. |

Tbf to City we've had the issue of low seeding to contend with, so we kept being pitted with Champions (Bayern twice, Dortmund, Porto, Napoli, Real, etc in last three years) in the group stage. We got out of the group stage last season but then immediately met Barcelona. Our tally now from winning the league twice and being runners-up once in the last 3 years will mean the job should get easier. If it doesn't I'll be back on here blaming the weather. ![]() Liverpool won't win the league. Chelsea and Arsenal have improved greatly and City have too to a lesser degree. United have a better manager. It's going to be a tough season with five genuine contenders. |

I'll throw my hat into the ring... Liverpool won't win. They were unlucky last year, but this summer they seem to have bought about a million new players and finding a settled team amongst that lot will be difficult. It's that problem of trying to keep a lot of people happy and I think they'll struggle which will be a shame after the season they had last year. I think they were the best team in the league. City might have the same problem despite buying less. I can't see either winning. Arsenal are looking better but it might be a year too soon. Assuming it all clicks with Chelsea then the title could be theirs. I think Man Utd would have done much better last season if they hadn't had injuries at various points to Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Evans, Jones, Fellaini, Carrick, Nani, Rooney and RVP (off the top of my head) - so this season if they stay injury free then they'll be contenders again. A couple of good young signings will strengthen them and fill in a couple of gaps left by aging players. Plus it looks like we've got Rojo so our defence is starting to look good. We've won every pre-season game - LA Galaxy, Roma, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Valencia - and that's no mean feat! I know it's pre-season but it'll fill the side with confidence. The other thing to remember is that just about the whole Utd team have won major leagues before - and most of them have won the PL, so they have the experience. The youngsters we've got coming through have looked red hot too so that's quite exciting. Therefore: Man Utd Chelsea Arsenal Man City Liverpool or Everton - gonna be tight. |

Nothing wrong with a bit of confidence. I think City will finish strongly again but I expect us to have a shaky start like last season. Way too many players are far from match fitness, and many of them are the defensive ones. Don't be surprised if we start the season with a few high scoring wins and defeats... |

I wanna revise my predictions now that Pulis has left Palace. They'll struggle some without him. |
