Dingwalls about to get demolished and Bull and Gate now about to re-open as a gastropub. Used to like the B&G. Beer wasn't great, though a pint of Bass is always preferable to a pint of Tuborg, but it was a nice size. |

Camden still has The Underworld, The Dublin Castle, The Barfly, The Monarch, The Electric Ballroom, The Roundhouse and Koko, but I can't remember the last time I went to any of those, except for a one off visit to Koko for the première of the Johnny Moped movie with a live performance from the man himself. Camden apparently has a rock walk of fame! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-21601924 Note the strong Camden link to the artists on the original nominations list (Elvis, Billie Holliday and Fela Kuti, to name but three). The walk of fame will end up looking even more ridiculous if Camden's venues keep on closing. |

Exactly Milchy. The Barfly was a regular haunt for me but like you I haven't been to a gig in Camden in ages. Does the Enterprise still put on gigs? |

I hadn't heard about Dingwalls, that's a real shame. Have you got any links? I only ever go to Camden for big gigs now, KOKO/Roundhouse/Ballroom - but that doesn't happen very often, 4/5 times a year I guess. |
