‘Twas a great evening and a great sendoff for the Loves. I wish they’d said it was “black tie” on the posters though… Apart from the Loves, who took a no-expense-spared approach (and their dancers took a no-clothes-needed approach) the highlights were the fantastic Lovely Eggs and the best Comet Gain show I’ve seen in some time. The other highlight was that moment where Simon went all shy when he had to sing “Motherfuckers” with Treacle’s mum in the audience. It was such a good night, I think the Loves should retire at least twice a year. |

I had a cracking time. Loved The Loves and The Lovely Eggs loads. And MickTravis knocking out those Tompaulin classics was worth the entry fee on it's own. |
