Not forgetting Rounder Records of course, tipsters for all upcoming gigs, etc... Wax Factor was always good, though haven't been there for ages. Educational point for the day - it's North Laine, the 'laine' bit referring to one of 4 large fields around the fledgling town way back when, the 'North' one being the only one to give a name to any part of the modern town -and it is a great area to wander around, I'm lucky enough to work about 10 mins walk away and often go down there to clear my head. |

Not a fan of Wax Factor, actually. Prices are ridiculous so rarely stop long. Love Jump The Gun and many more little clothes shops I can't remember the names of. Had lunch in Bill's, a big old stable. Lovely food and veeeeery nice staff.... |

Never been there but Brighton is home to Memphis Industries which is one of my favourite labels - and also the base of The Go! Team who can seemingly do no wrong as far as I'm concerned. |
