Very good year for films, I thought. My top ten: The Diving Bell & The Butterfly My Winnipeg Man On Wire La Antenna Gomorra California Dreaming 4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days Ex Drummer Redacted There Will Be Blood Best festival screening: Wellness (Raindance Festival) Best Re-releases: Killer Of Sheep Bicycle Thieves Worst film seen: OSS117: Cairo, Nest Of Spies Most overrated: Wall-E Persepolis You The Living In Bruges Most Underrated: La Antenna Redacted Not seen Hunger yet! |

No Country For Old Men There Will Be Blood Gomorrah Waltz With Bashir Man On Wire Hunger To be honest I'd struggle to name ten films that I actually loved this year. I suppose, at a push, I could throw in Burn After Reading & Happy Go Lucky....though I still need to see Diving Bell & Butterfly and 4 weeks... And while I didn't find In Bruges as good as some critics have said, I thought it was still entertaining. Saw Che: Part One on Friday - that weren't bad either. |
