Caller rings in and cue lots of ridiculous chirpy bonhomie with yelping, inane giggling, etc between DJ and fella from Bradford. After thirty seconds of this the latter explains he has a hangover. Still chuckling the DJ asks why. Fella replies he was at a cultural event yesterday. Probably assuming it must be Rise, the DJ asks which one... turns out it's an Orange order sectarian one... Cue silence followed by complete change in approach to fella and frosty banter. Tbh it was the only amusing thing on the show this am. Am I the only one sick to death of these double act DJ teams (invariably one cockney/yokel and 1 professional northerner) reading unfunny stories from the tabloids and exchanging tedious catchphrases? *You can tell I'm working from home to day. Already got more done than I ever do sat in the office. |

I'm surprised people still listen to the radio, to be honest. I listen to a few shows here and there and usually use the internet to listen to the shows after they are first broadcast. |
