We had a street teamer company come into us, I am sure that you could get them done if you applied the law to its full for getting kids working for literally nothing whilst underage with these companies just creaming it. You're 12 and you want to help out you say. Flyer an entire tour including a late night gig in Brixton for a t-shirt and a chance to win a signed single.

I was just about to add something to this thread then I realised what had happened but then I though f#ck it, I'll post anyway. I like the idea of discovering some unknown and telling others about them. I do a live music band night in Manchester (only small time you understand) which means I get CDs sent to me from all over the world. I am trully amazed how much really good stuff comes from totally unknown artists. Just listening to Channel In Channel Out, who you've probably never heard of. He lives in the States and there's no chance he'll come to the UK but his music should be heard. Experimental Electronica - in particular I like Contaminate the Optimist. I'm listening to a few other CDs from bands that I'm going to book so I'll do my promotion bit in the appropriate place in due course. |
