Saturday 15th January
Uptight is back at a new venue, The Albany on Great Portland Street. Intimate and underground just like the good old days. Map & further details can be found on the website.
Doors swing open at 8:30 with free entry for the first half hour then it's £4 with a flyer printable from the website, otherwise it's £5. All the fun ends at 2:30 Sunday morning.
There's plenty of new links on the site too. Including David Bowie, Rolling Stones, Tindersticks, a site claiming to list every music book ever (!) and articles on defining a record, a reappraisal of some classic icons and how much classic Krautrock can a man stand in a single sitting?
Happy new year!
