That link doesn't seem to work Kev, but I'm sure it's a scorcher, whatever it is! _________________ 2nd verse same as the 1st... |

Good record. |
They date from the same time as early ramones 74-78, but yeah, they're early punk rock. They're Australian but have links to Detriot scene and the MC5.
It's worth tracking down the double CD 'Do The Pop' which compiles Australian Garage Rock from 76-87 on it. Loads of lost classics on it. |

All of that sounds right up my street! Australia's part in the punk scene is largely overlooked (apart from the arguable 'first punk record')
I'm a big garage fan (small garages just don't do it for me) so I'll have a gander if it's on spotify or something to check out. _________________ REVOLUTION PURITY LOVE SUICIDE ACCURACY

Fan of Ike & Tina and of Phil Spector, but this isn't one of my favourites.
There's a great clip on YouTube of Ike & Tina doing Fool In Love and I Know It's Gonna Work Out Fine , complete with not just the Ikettes dancing, but the guitarists also taking part in some unified steps. _________________ 2nd verse same as the 1st... |

See, I've always considered this their finest song. So I guess we're not in agreement!
The instrumental part (which doesn't really do much) is as pure Spector as you can get. _________________ REVOLUTION PURITY LOVE SUICIDE ACCURACY

That is soooooo spooky! I was debating which of three tracks I was going to put on if I got a chance and that was one of them! |

Tuesday 8th March
A gem from the golden age of UK independent record labels.
Always a great group live. Hard to believe it's over 30 years ago.

A curious choice Tim ( I couldn't find the emoticon for slight bewilderment).
Is this an indication of love of the film or just this particular song? _________________ 2nd verse same as the 1st... |

I was thinking the same thing. Not a bad tune but not one I'd have picked. |
Let's be honest it was rubbish. |
