My next Plan B show for Mod Radio UK - http://www.modradiouk.net will be a look back at new records & reissues from 2007.

There's some ska & reggae from the likes of Pama International, Edgar Jones, The Che Men, The Slackers, Rhoda Dakar and The Exits. Garage from The Mourning After (2 unreleased songs), Graham Day & The Goalers and Thee Strawberry Mynde. Also some singles from The Rumble Strips, Amsterdam and The Dead 60s. I'll also be playing some Northern Soul reissues from 2007 and some 60s Mod stuff.

The show goes out this Thursday (3rd January) at 9pm (UK time) till 10.30pm. The show will also be repeated at 9pm on Thursday 10th January, Thursday 17th January, Thursday 24th January and Thursday 31st January.

Interesting that you’re playing the Dead 60s. Not a big fan of theirs but then I heard their reggae compilation on Trojan, which was fantastic, and thought they had brilliant taste (although anyone who has only just discovered Althea & Donna is showing their lack of age!).

Some of the Dead 60s stuff is alright. I like 'You're Not the Law' and the last single 'Stand Up' wasn't too bad sounding and I liked the sleeve artwork, very Constructivist influenced. But other stuff like Riot Radio' just sounds like a Clash rip off while 'Ghostfaced Killer' was just 'One Step Beyond' with lryics.
