I've only just noticed this, but for how long has the forum been entitled "Indie, Folk and Alt-Country"?

Wha da fuck happened there?

Merely reflecting the remit of the site and trying to get it noticed by like minded individuals via Google. Since when has it covered punk / rock, etc and what does "alternative" mean?

Says more about the age, sartorial style and sedentary nature of the editors, if you ask me... for folk's sake.

Just a quick glance at the reviews reveals the remit to be wider than the restrictive 'folk, country' tag of this board. For example, UMP, The Favours, Ebony Bones, Sons and Daughters, Future Of The Left....

I even did Dizzee Rascal earlier in the year (though in a rather bemused style). And I shall continue to review Motorhead as and when the mood strikes.

I must go around with my eyes closed - what did it say before?...erm, alt-country shouldn't get a mention in lights! (even alt-country bands would agree with me) It should say FIRE across the top with flames coming out of it and the corresponding letters that make up the genre (Folk Indie Rock Electronica)

I've reviewed rock and electronica.... :P

Obviously I'd have liked it to include Horrible Old School Tuneless Punk Rock as well, but I'll settle for that! :P

Oh, and hello again young Polster, good to see you back! :D
