Happy new Year, Howdy. It enrages you? Many things enrage me, like hanging fiascos that cry hypocrisy, but never word usage. We have many vocab hitlers on here. As a New Year's resolution i'll never use wuv again even though it's been in my family for centuries and if you believe that...and how can it scare you? God, i've missed you.

*Wuv - Brazilian term meaning a declaration of love, but not love as in exchanging bodily fluids. In a now buried civilisation, Zoqueians would use the word 'wuv' as a condensed version of 'You're wunderbar and I love you' (but not in the bodily fluid sense)' - hence wunderbar (wonderful to the laymans' among us) and love = wuv.

I was misquoting from Futurama - I think it should've been "confuses and enrages me". It's said by Lrrr (ruler of Omicron Persei VIII) when Earth tries to placate him by sending a million love-heart sweets, one of which says "I Wuv You".
