Saw it coming. Too soon for Harry to take over. Pearce to take charge for the Euros?

With Trevor Brooking I bet. Hang on what's Howard Wilkinson up to these days?

Oh god, it'll be all the stand ins again. They'll appoint Harry and then David Pleat will take up is 453rd placement as Spurs caretaker manager. Seriously I'm expecting Pearce to step in until after the Euros now.

I was wondering how quickly text jokes would start doing the rounds. The first one in at 19.53.

"Fabio Capello... another Italian leaving a sinking ship".

On another note - rumours already doing the rounds that Jose will be leaving Real for Spurs...

Bang goes our chances of a feeble Euro2012 followed by a second round exit on penalties.

Yeah. It'll be an exciting one with a loss on penalties in the semi finals now.

Shame they've already said that the next manager has to be rubbish, sorry, English. Ferguson would be my choice...

If only. He'd never do it. He's Scottish through and through as he's stated before. Even though the English generally support the Scots, the feeling isn't mutual.

He may not do so presently but I think he's professional enough to do it if he was being paid to do so. My choice was more mischievous anyway because I think it would be the beginning of the end of United's monopoly on the Premier League.

Yeah, we'd be tits up. It'll be over when he leaves. And I actually will cry.

I find it really weird that Harry was bang to rights for tax evasion until the naughty England manager said what he said and then Harry was free. I smell a bung and i'm not standing next to a toilet.

They will be hard pressed to find an English manager free from corruption. I love Bryan Robson and look at how naughty he is. 10 on a 1 to 10 scale of naughtiness.

Maybe we could dust El Tel down and wheel him back out again because he wasn't all that bad at all...oh no, he's dodgy too.

Brian Robson was like many British players of his generation, an alcoholic. Great player but his drinking ended his management career and the Premier League is so tough these days you can't get away with the limited brains of an English footballer. I do wonder how it is though that Glasgow consistently produces so many top coaches. They're not all growling bullies, fresh out of Govan, either.
