Some new releases (pre-orders) just gone up on

'Bunnyhood EP' by Falling and Laughing (ODD013). This should be out by the beginning of August and it comes in an amazing screen printed cardboard sleeve. It's delicious. The 4 songs on the EP see the Birmingham 'Chord Gazing Indiepoppers' in fine fettle. This EP is limited to 120 and it is sure to sell out in quick smart time. 'Lemonland' by The Humms (BOX004). The Humms are everything you ever loved about garage rock distilled into way too catchy songs about death, drugs and love! Their EP (Are You Dead?) was voted 2nd best of the year by the Sounds XP writers in 2009. 'Lemonland' is the bands debut LP. It's 18 songs (50 minutes!) of pure gold. 'The Last 24 Hours EP' by Liars Beware (ODD018). Liars Beware are rumbling guitar beast which nods to pop-punk. This is their debut release. They cover the Urinals classic 'Sex'. 'The Whole Thing' by Hot Booth. (ODD016) Teenage mutant ninja Daniel (he of Pocketbooks, The Loves and One Fathom Down) has a solo project and this is it. It will upset you. It upset me. 4 lo-fi cassette ready recordings. Due imminently (about 10 days, we think). Available to pre-order now for just £2.99 (plus P&P). This is a cassingle. That's a cassette, for those too young to remember what a cassingle is. Limited to just 50 copies. Be quick, or be without.

'A Little More Suspicion in Our Fairytales Plz' by Ace Bushy Striptease (ODD012). This came out at the tail end of June. This 12 song EP clocks in at over 25 minutes. The band have just confirmed for Truck Festival on 24th July. For fans of Pavement, Art Brut, Bearsuit and Los Campesinos! so say The Music Fix. Available now for just £3 (plus P&P).

'One Happy Island' by One Happy Island (BOX003). The debut LP by Boston's finest has been picking up glowing reviews out in blog land and this record deserves all the plaudits that are being thrown it's way. And we've got one more release to shout about. This one is another two song free download 'single' by Space Age Thrills. Space Age Thrills is a bedroom project of Ben from London - who wanted to channel his love of the Ramones through a lo-fi fuzz pedal - but somehow the idea got over run with a whole host of horror and sci-fi imagery. And keyboards, too. It's ace and we love it. This will be available for FREE download on August 2nd.
