Nice to see them sort the hit and miss French team out, hope it's not going to be one of those ooooh so close moments for them now.

Still, it was a good effort by the Jocks, while our (English) bunch of multi-millionaire superstars scratched about to little effect against a never-more-than-competent opposition. Ah well, at least we had the Welsh to laugh at. As usual.

They are indeed - lots of miserable faces around. I'll tell you something, I've taken way more stick here, in a football sense, for being a Scot than I ever did when I lived in England. I watched an Ireland V Scotland match at Landsdowne Road where certain Scots players were ritually booed by sectarian twats in the crowd, so I've no sympathy for them. Ha ha, Ireland, you must be shitting yourselves about going to San Marino now. Maybe Bertie Vogts might be interested in the job if Staunton decides to quit, you never know your luck?
