One Man Melt presents....

'noisier northern hopes''
-NME Magazine

'reverb drenched majesty'
-The Fly

'beautiful traditional psychedelia'
-Lauren Laverne, BBC 6 Music

'jangly psychedelia, listeners tip of the week'
-Steve Lamacq, BBC Radio 2

The Lucid Dream were formed in Carlisle, Cumbria, in 2008.

On the back of 'Erbistock Mill' EP, and 3 sold-out 7" single releases ('Love In My Veins' 'Heartbreak Girl' 'Hits Me Like I'm Stoned'), the band have gained acclaim from the likes of NME, Q, Frank Skinner (Absolute Radio), Steve Lamacq (BBC Radio 2 'Listeners Tip of the Week'), and major support from BBC 6 Music (Nemone 'Record of the Weekend', Lauren Laverne, Gideon Coe, Tom Robinson).

Most recently, the band were selected as full UK tour support to A Place To Bury Strangers, and followed this up by supporting Death In Vegas. This was on the back of supports to Spectrum, Crocodiles, Captain Beefheart's 'The Magic Band', and The Aliens, to name a few.

The long awaited debut album, 'Songs Of Lies and Deceit', will be released on 1st July 2013 (on CD/download via Holy Are You Recordings, and on limited vinyl via The Great Pop Supplement).

'Joyous debut album from Parisian Creationists' Uncut Magazine

'Great record, sounds like they should be from California' Steve Lamacq, BBC 6 Music

'I've listened to the album so many times this week I love it' Tom Ravenscroft

Beat Mark are one of a few French bands to strike with the noisy pop spirit of contemporary U.S. music (from MGMT to Dum Dum Girls), who don't hide their mid-80s to mid-90s English influences. Their sound has been described as nuggets of The Vaselines, and The Television Personalities with a few drops of The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Stone Roses and Primal Scream.

Some have even evoked My Bloody Valentine. Whatever, the mix, the 2 boys and 2 girls of Beat Mark from Paris have created a full-length album that has a raw and instantly refreshing new sound. Who would have thought the French could be so chic hot.

'Sexy & dirty, melodic & gloriously messy at the same time' Les Inrocks

'Saturated garage guitar pop, lo-fi psychedelism sung in's simple, it's beautiful, it's dignified & sober' Rock & Folk Magazine
