Sheffield's legendary indiepoppunk night presents... for the first and last time... an Offbeat New Year's Eve Party @ The Shakespeare, Gibraltar Street, Sheffield Wednesday 31st December, 2008 10.00pm to 2.00am Tickets priced £3.50 advance, £4.00 on the night if any are left... Advance tickets can be purchased... ...in person from Jacks Records, Division Street, Sheffield from Monday 8th December, 2008. ...online from us from Monday 8th December, 2008 - see ...in person from us at the Christmas Offbeat, on Friday 12th December, 2008; ...in person from us at the Raynor Lounge, SUSU, between 1pm and 2pm on Monday 15th December and Thursday 18th December; They can also be purchased from us by post from Monday 8th December - send an SAE, plus a cheque for £3.50, payable to G. Stride, or £3.50 in postage stamps, to C. Stride, IWP, University of Sheffield, Mushroom Lane, Sheffield, S10 2TN The deadline for postal or online applications is Friday 19th December. Since it's a one-off event we will be playing the all-time Offbeat top 75 as chosen by us, using a variety of criteria (most plays, our annual Festive 10 chart placings, your opinions via the Offbeat Facebook Group which we shall canvas in advance of the event) as well as some more personal subjective opinion.
