am i right in thinking that campy antiques guy off that flog it programme was the drummer in the quireboys... no wait, it was dog's d'amour! hehe. |

your memory serves you well. i remember them being one of the last guard of the comedy-sleazy glam rock guns 'n' roses-alike crew. i can remember seeing them about then abruptly dissappearing off the pages of my copy of kerrang around the same time as neds atomic dustbin, fudgetunnel, ritual de lo habitual era jane's addiction and the nymphs were about. it was around the first time i noticed the likes of nirvana, mudhoney and all that seattle crew hoving grungily into view. that would have been about fifteen years ago. |

hehe - sorry honey. just messing. anyway, i was but a slip of a lad when this stuff was going on. honestly, i'm sure that antiques bloke was in some uk glam rock band in the late 80s. my mate rich makes ads and trailers n stuff and he told me. i need to find out... hang on. found 'im!. it was no-one famous. booo. |
