I am looking to take my little sister to her first ever gig now she is 15, anyone have any recommendations or suggestions. My first was Warren G and the G Funk Era Band so I am not exactly stiff competition.

I was thinking someone fun like I'm From Barcelona perhaps ...

Well what music does she like, Teasy? My son is 15 and on his ipod is all the R&B rubbish mixed in with the likes of ELO, Rod Stewart and My Chemical Romance, oh dear. I tried to take him and a friend to a Stereogram (I liked Walkie talkie man) gig at the Water rats to break him in but he wasn't having any of it. If I was you i'd take her to a Scissor Sisters gig because you're guaranteed a great time even if you don't like the music. The atmosphere is great.
My first gig was Wham (I was young, knew no better, etc)

My first was The kinks when I was 13.

I was going to see Ray Davies again on 4th November in Liverpool. But the tour has been cancelled due to ill health.

my first was the sweet at manchester free trade hall in 1972(?). taken by my dad who knew the venue manager, followed a few weeks later by middle of the road
first one i payed for was fleetwood mac on the rumours tour at the palace theatre in manchester. fantastic
