The Mighty Lemon Drops have reformed for two, possibly three C86 celebration gigs. Sadly all the dates are in the states  Original vocalist Paul Marsh was not into the idea of playing anymore so Clint Mansell from fellow Black Country band Pop Will Eat Itself is on vocals. Support is from the BMX Bandits who called their debut album C86 after their entry was rejected from the C86 track listing. What I would give to see that than the pap at the ICA.
Dates are: 17/11 - San Francisco - Cafe Du Nord 19/11 - Los Angeles - Echo EDIT: Lemon Drops have now cancelled but gigs going ahead. |

Anyone go last night? If so, any cop...? I'll be there tonight. The first time I saw Roddy Frame with Aztec Camera it was at the L.S.E., back, ooh, nearly twenty five years ago,,,TWENTY FIVE F***ING YEARS! They were supported by the Blue Orchids, featuring , hold on...Una Baines and Martin Bramah. I was standing next to the p.a. and one passage was so loud that it nearly blew me head off and means I'm still a bit mutton in me right ear. |
