I doubt there's a single person on here who's ever started a fight as we're all limp wristed indie schmindie pacifist jessies who spend all our time arranging flowers in the shape of, er, bigger flowers. But have people found themselves in a rather 'tasty' situation through misfortune or having squinty eyes and had to deal with the consequences? |

Yep. Some tart started a fight with my seven months pregnant sister. A huge mistake. It took three men, including her boyfriend, to drag me off her. I would have killed her and thought about it afterwards. ![]() ![]() |

Most of my encounters have been a result of alcohol consumption and luckily my friends have bailed me out on most occasions. I seem to annoy some people really easily when I'm drunk and sometimes to such an extent that they want to beat me into the ground. the thing is I usually carry on talking to them oblivious to their anger towards me until friends spot my errors and drag me away. I never intend to incite anger but I guess people tend to take things I say the wrong way. I nearly got into a fight with my brother in-law the first time I met him, well, I say a fight but I mean he nearly lamped me. He misconstrued something I said and as he was pretty drunk too he got into a bit of a rage and a couple of people had to hold him back from laying into me. I punched a friends' boyfriend during a boozy evening once because he was being a twat and pushed me in a puddle, apparently he didn't even remember it the next day. I'm pretty amazed I haven't been in more fights really. Anyone fancy a pint? |

I once split up a fight between two girls outside a pub at closing time, only to be suddenly surrounded by a very large group of burly Burberry cap-heads who came out of nowhere. |

Last fight I had was about six years ago with my then downstairs neighbour who was a feckin revolting racist bastard. The fecker attacked me from behind as well. Gave it to him right back but to be honest I was a bit shaken. And he scratched me like a big jessie. |

When I was about 16 me and my mate Chris used to drink a can of Special Brew each and then pick fights with passers-by on the street. I think actual violence broke out about twice and both times involved Chris throwing a punch and the other guy running away while I looked on, secretly grateful that nothing more serious had happened. Now I think of it, Chris was a veritable violence magnet. We'd go to the pub for a few drinks and when we went to leave there'd be some blokes waiting for us outside. Chris'd be like, "I thought you'd all be here" and I'd be thinking, "who the hell are this lot and why do they want to beat us up?" A few punches would be thrown, followed by the traditional running away. Chris was, needless to say, a drummer. |

It was in my nightclub waitressing days and, being NYE, we were all dressed as babies in, er, a nappy and a cropped vest. As it was busy they had pulled in a waitress who had stopped working there shortly after I started. In the time I'd been working there she and her friend would frequent the club and say in a loud voice, 'the waitresses here have gone a bit downhill lately', whenever I was within earshot. On this particular night she got drunker and drunker and kept deliberately bumping into me at the bar with a tray full of glasses, I asked her to stop doing it and she kicked me, I kicked her back and then one of the bouncers stepped in and stopped us. At the end of the night in the changing room she kept deliberately bumping into me again so I asked again what her problem was and she leapt on me ![]() ![]() ![]() She was sent home and never reemployed and the management gave me a bottle of champagne. Alas the string from my dummy left what looked like lovebites around my neck which took ages to fade. |
