what ho! guess what? oh you'll never guess what? daddy long legs are back from messing about in boats, crashing about the undergrowth in cornwall, and pedalling about amsterdam... and we're going to play a bally gig to prove it. we'll be pulling out the chocks and engaging full throttle at the purple turtle in camden next thursday the 31st. in case you don't know the old place already. we're on last, er i mean headlining and will bound onstage around 10pm. tickets are a fiver and a sixer without. should be a sterling do as the other bands temple, evil genius, and the interestingly named royworld look like a roguish and talented bunch of young blades too. to sum up: thursday night top hole venue bang on bands daddy on at 10 do come. contact! a. p.s. you may have noticed that we're playing at the rock en seine festival in paris this weekend supporting radiohead and beck. in fact this isn't quite the case. unfortunately some gang of continental knaves has hijacked our name and taken to strutting about the left bank pretending to be us. i suppose we should be flattered but our lawyers will be in touch. it's radiohead i feel sorry for. can you imagine their little faces when they find out it's not us they've booked? chin up thom. |
